Dahabshiil Transfer Services
Dahabshiil is an international funds transfer company headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Formed in the early 1970s, the firm operates from over 24,000 outlets and employs more than 2,000 people across 126 countries. Dahabshiil is the largest African money transfer service.
Dahabshiil Transfer Services (UK) were looking for a sole designer or team to create their brand material so they could align themselves closer to other brands they aspire to. The aim was to create brand consistency and improve on the quality of their marketing materials.
During our first meeting with Dahabshiil, we saw some previous printed and digital material and realised quickly there was a lot of brand confusion.
The Dahabshiil green was printed in different shades, typography was inconsistent and there were no clear brand guidelines. This was an issue we would tackle later on by updated and creating extensive guidelines for the company to abide by.
We were commissioned to design various marketing assets for many of the branches in the UK, Sweden and Somalia.
We have designed and had corporate brochures printed for executives, window stickers and decals for various branches, leaflets, posters, calendars and many more assets to build a more consistent brand.
As mentioned before, we were able to suggest a more thorough version of Dahabshiil’s brand guidelines. We changed the typography for printed assets from Sun to Hind as it was a cleaner typeface, readily available and came in several weights. Through our previous work with the company, we decided on the type of images that should be used and how to apply the logo across the brand’s identity.
