I am a brand strategist and identity designer. Phew, now that’s out the way, what does that mean for me and for you?
I’ve studied and worked in the creative industry for almost 20 years (wow). Safe to say, I’ve had varying degrees of success and countless bouts of imposter syndrome.
My passion is working with small business and start-ups. I love being part of that initial journey and feeling part of the team and leave a long-lasting impression. Sole trading can be lonely at times.
I understand the problems that small businesses and start-ups have when starting out – I’ve been through it and continue to learn how to be better. This is where I find a common ground. I haven’t worked in many agencies, but I’ve had the opportunity to work with various clients from different sectors in all four corners of the world.
What you get with me is experience in various areas. I’m responsible for design, strategy, budgeting, supplier relationships, communication with stakeholders and key decision makers plus more. It’s sounds like a lot (it is), but it’s become second nature. I used to say I’m an all-round designer, but I’m much more than that. I’m the go-to person who gets things done.
This isn’t just a job or career, it’s a life choice. It’s a way to make an impact and give back all that I’ve learnt to help influence other people and companies in a positive way. I build long-term relationships with people to create trust, efficiency, and expertise and those are just some of the values I stand for.
